Georgia Senate runoff in less than 24 hours.
Hard to describe how insulting it is that someone as fundamentally unfit as Walker is seen by the GOP as fit for the office, and by definition fit to serve as an excample of what a Black man in public office should be. He is their ideal - make no mistake about it. They can blame this on Dolt45 all they want, but they had every opportunity to reject him - and had neither the intellect nor the courage to do so.
@BenCisco If I were a Black Republican I'd be extremely insulted. Walker is an example of every stereotype racists have about Black people . He is the embodiment of Thomas Rice's minstrel character Jim Crow.

Sadly, from what I know of Black Republicans, they are not. Tim Scott was due to make an appearance, and in any case will absolutely NOT be heard saying (as at least on GA GOPer has) that Walker is the worst Senate candidate ever. They are all, the lot of them, beneath contempt.
And that is *exactly* why he’s appealing to the GOP. It’s why he appeals to the voters hey are trying to muster.
It’s not a vote for *him*, but a vote for — to sustain — that embodied stereotype.
And they would far rather have him in office for a term, japing and performing their stereotypes, and embarrassing the state, than a highly competent, capable, caring Black man.
If they win, they just use it all to prove that GA should elect a *white* man.
That's why they aren't insulted.
