On our last day at #PAXUnplugged, we played 2 games.

I vaguely thought LUNA CAPITAL was an economic/financial game, based on the name alone -- but it's a tile-placement game where you score points for your largest block of oxygen generators, sets of three greenhouses, the most meteorites, etc. It's a perfectly fine game, but uses the teeniest icons ever, so I had to peer closely at the tiles to identify their type.

This is also the one single game that I won this weekend! (1/2)

STARSHIP CAPTAINS is a recent game from publisher CGE and heavily borrows its aesthetics from #StarTrek: TNG.
You captain a starship and must deploy your ensigns -- in yellow, blue, and red -- to move around the map, complete missions, repair damage, and advance on diplomacy tracks. I managed my crew poorly, wasting turns on moving to a better place or running out of crewmembers to fulfill a mission, but it was fun to plan out my turns. @MeeplePhD won, 39 points to 28. (2/2)
