@LuckyLadyInStepney Just watched the trailer for Christmas in Connecticut - I like the look of that.
@CatherineRussell2 @LuckyLadyInStepney I watched a good Christmas film on Amazon Prime video today Called Your Christmas or mine.
@CatherineRussell2
Not really a Christmas movie but I forgot to add "The Shop Around the Corner". 1940.

Does anyone remember a few years back, Catherine made/had a list of Xmas movies and we watched and rated them. One was the absolute strangest movie and I'm trying to remember the name of it. Sorry, best I can remember other than there was a lot of snow and perhaps some Scifi. 🤔

“And now just watched number 16. A dark & sinister Christmas horror from Finland, with an all male cast. Some great imagery. Gave it 6.5. https://t.co/ukzyhDN5uy”

@tracytwilson @CatherineRussell2

Well I saw that list but it says 2021 and we watched the movies in 2018 so I wasn't sure it was the same.

@ducktapepr
@tracytwilson @CatherineRussell2

Sure that #16 is not it cause that's an updated list. I think I may have found it. Was it called Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale?

@LuckyLadyInStepney @CatherineRussell2 @ducktapepr Yes—that’s the 16th on the list I saw. Should have typed out the name but I was lazy.
@tracytwilson @LuckyLadyInStepney @CatherineRussell2 I see whats happened! - I followed the link from the original "16th" Film post Catherine posted back in 2018, however, the Independent updated it and used the same link in 2021 🤦🏻‍♀️
@CatherineRussell2 It’s a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, Wizard of Oz(watched every year as child), A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version).
@CatherineRussell2 so great to see you include The Apartment on this list. Definitely one of my top ten favorite films. Too often overlooked for its Christmas and New Years Eve themes.
@Blithedale I only discovered it about 4 years ago. Wonderful.
@CatherineRussell2 @Blithedale It is wonderful, and intense and hits me in the gut.
@CatherineRussell2 Love actually?
@CatherineRussell2 Oh dear - I always think of it as a Christmas movie, but also have to add that I've only seen it in bits, as I've always been busy with real life Christmas! I'm not very good with films - prefer books but Elf is on the list for this year as it's another one that I've only watched in bits! Have a lovely filmic intro to Christmas!

@suevickersthompson @CatherineRussell2

Like that film or not.... You have to admit that hands down he'd make a miles better PM than anything we've had in years 🤣🤣

@CatherineRussell2 But... But... It's a Christmas movie... Oh ok I'll pick a different one. A Christmas Story..
