@swarming #mastodon is not a single instance. Existing in the #fediverse means that these types of hashtags will exist. Search for #jew and you will get similar hashtags.

The key issue more relevant here is the lack of existence of any #muslim mastodon instance. Moderating it would be a nightmare though.
