My husband took this photo in 2020, it shows Comet Neowise over the Longstone at Mottistone on the #IsleofWight.
We have wonderful dark skies here which really helped. We made the walk up to the neolithic monument late at night which was really magical. I was given a torch and duly light painted the Longstone with it whilst my husband snapped away.
We had our teenage son with us and once we had the shot we sat down and stargazed. #StandingStoneSunday

@sharongascoigne Your site has quite a few stones, should last you a few Sundays! Then you need to get him to photograph more!
