POLITICO Playbook: Trump’s pre-runoff message: Terminate the Constitution

And the runoff heads into its last stretch.

POLITICO
“A Massive Fraud of this type & magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, & articles, even those found in the Constitution,” #Trump wrote.

New York Times reporter Peter Baker wrote on Twitter that this seems like a dangerous new milestone for Trump.

"Needless to say, can't think of a time in the United States when a former president (and would-be future president) has called for suspending the Constitution to let him seize power," he wrote. "Even after all the shocks of the last few years, this one is remarkable."

@Nonilex

He is lucky words alone are not enough to convict a person of a crime. There must be a physical act in furtherance of the crime.

But the words can used to prove the intent to commit the crime.

His words were treasonous. Terminate all of the Constitution. In effect: no Constitution, no United States of America. Treason.

The post in question below.

While Trump’s speech on #Jan6 clearly met the #BrandenburgTest for “seditious speech" & “imminent lawless action" – this I don’t think does. It’s insane, hella messed up & while logically anyone running for US govt office should automatically adhere to the US Constitution, this is probably not provably inciting, just seriously foreboding. If he were to become president again… very bad things.
