@slightlyflightyone @crashglasshouses I see the emotion in this situation, and I can understand that I don’t have the same knowledge that you do on this matter. Thank you for sharing that context and background. I agree that what you’re saying makes sense. The only argument I’m making in all of this is that I have limited ability, and I use this platform largely as a means of talking about my mental health and disability struggles, venting about my limited ability to cope with our shit capitalist society, and to share my art. I’m not defending abusers, nor do I have any interest in it. I’m just here for community and I can’t access that same community anymore. I have limited ability and I don’t know what else to do in this situation other than leave this platform. My girlfriend is talking about setting up her own instance for her account. That totally seems like the way to go imo, but I don’t have that same ability, nor the capacity to learn. I’m not defending mastodon.art’s decision whatsoever. The fact that these situations occur and require my participation to function on this platform means that this platform is not accessible to my limited ability. I don’t know how else to look at it.
@SinEater @slightlyflightyone @crashglasshouses
There is a instance for disabled. I've seen people who are on it.
@punkmetalnbowie @SinEater @slightlyflightyone @crashglasshouses disabled.social is ran by doctors iirc so i dont trust it
@_e_y_e_s_ @punkmetalnbowie @slightlyflightyone I did notice that and was a bit hesitant too.
