'A BAD DAY', a story by Trumpet. One day Trumpet got out of bed to find that A BAD PERSON had created thousands of bots on thousands of domains trying to BREAK MASTODON. How rude! https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/21977 Trumpet tried to fix it (while eating his corn flakes), which didn't work. Then the database fell over. Then Trumpet tried to restore the database (over 3 hours) which FAILED AT 99%. This made Trumpet sad. The second attempt worked. Trumpet has had a bad day! 😞
