The bladeless wind turbine developed in a cooperative effort between Spanish and US companies is incredible in that it's nearly silent, less maintenance intensive, & easier to deploy in cities.

It vibrates through wind oscillation and that vibration is converted into power. (Think of a bridge swaying in the wind)

Cool tech.
