You'd have to put up a sign like #minceir or #mincéirí or #minceirbeoirs or maybe even #minceirimastodon to find people who are talking about you and those like you. And even then you can go find people and talk to them. There's Irish people local and you can go abroad no problem, see Europe and further afield. Meet interesting people without ever leaving home.

Sorry to hear that you feel lost in a sea of indifference – I think that’s the case for many people from marginalised communities at the moment (not that that’s much consolation, and I’m not sure how it’s going to change, though I hope it will) 💜
Ron@MinceirBeoir Rose your an inspiration to many even outside the travelling community, an important voice that will be heard on any platform. I think here you will get a more attentive audience rather than the warped mind farts of biggoted buffoons you get on the other platform, especially given they have open the gates to all the hate filled idiots over there given them free reign. I hope you stay on Mastodon because to selfish, you have certainly educated me & I'm not on the bird app anymore.

My preference is to read & learn, then interact but it feels like unless you are very active you don't build links. Not sure how you build links unless you are active & have special interest in common with lots of others?

But, I've read some of the stories and links you've posted and clicked the star thing. Not much else I can do as it's you educating me. I mean I hadn't given a thought to Romani travelling from Ukraine etc

Catherine@MinceirBeoir I think it is quiet across the platform but I am here to boost anything you post. I understand how you might feel like your voice is lost. I also think it helps when following people, that we also click on the notifications icon on their page. Otherwise I don’t see what people post as much and they get lost in he abyss on here.
