But can we agree that calling it “Christianist” gives these hateful extremists the impression that they are on God’s side. Jesus Christ, a Jewish rabbi who rejected empire; uplifted the marginalized (disabled, the poor, and women); and went after religious hypocrites has nothing in common with national chauvinism.
