Waxwings have arrived in Aberdeen in better numbers than we've had for a few years. This was one of at least 60 in Kincorth this morning.

@Geert We can get quite large numbers in Aberdeen, although there have not been many for several years. I can remember seeing nearly 1000 in this area in the past.

@paulcowdell There are reasonable numbers arriving at the moment. Not as many as in some past years, but there should be quite a few about during the winter. How far south they get remains to be seen.
