'entry-level' = entry. level.

The better question is, "why is your org asking for degrees and certs for 'entry level'?"

I was 100% in that realm... "if you don't have a homelab with 2,000 VMs and 1000 microservices and not attending conferences and listening to podcasts outside of work, you lack passion.."

There's a lot to be said for someone who has hobbies outside of #infosec... being able to step away from the bullshit. Set boundaries, travel without taking their work laptops, etc... only took me 20 years to realize that... that my 'passion' has had me burnt out for about 5 yr
