@Darceatron73 Been making a project - not binging, just an album every week or two - listening to his studio albums chronologically. I’m up to Under the Red Sky. Always challenging the industry as he finds it, his own fans and legacy. I appreciate that even when his output occasionally doesn’t resonate with me.
@PeterGiallo It’s half decent Under the Red Sky I think. I appreciate its swagger, that RnR beat that swings throughout, tracks like 10,000 Men, Unbelievable, great rugged groves, but for the life of me I can’t understand why he didn’t go with the Born in Time that later appeared on Tell Tale Signs?? Superior in every sense. Far from amongst his finest, but far from the dreck that most dismiss it as.
@Darceatron73 Agreed. Even when he’s panned I can find one or two songs on pretty much all of his albums. I appreciate artists who have the standing to experiment and miss the target, than consistently delivering what is expected of them.
