It is a truth universally acknowledged that the moment you say anything positive about anything to do with Microsoft, some refugee from the early noughties dude will pop in your mentions to shout at you and refer to Microsoft as "M$".
@katebevan It's pretty good these days. I have a major problem around cross-org use of teams, but otherwise, lots work well

@katebevan

I'd like to nominate "Microfos" ("fos" lit. Diarrhoea in Hungarian) to accompany that to the bin

@katebevan
Some folks will never get over the Look and Feel holy wars.
@katebevan same for Google these days too. "They'll steal your data bro"
@katebevan I had a 17 year old say "Embrace, Extend, Extinguish" to me at a conference a couple of years ago. He wasn't even *born* when that whole drama happened. :D
@popey oh dear god. Old bullshit dies hard, eh
@katebevan I call them "Microsoft" nowadays but continue to point out the terrible things they do. 😉
@katebevan as well as 'something something Bill Gates' 😬
@katebevan "this is much better in my personal favourite version of linux and you only need to learn a 453 character command line to do it"
@katebevan That dude may also be want for a wife...
@katebevan oh wow, are they *still* at it? Jeez
@katebevan being forced to use Microsoft products should be a war crime.
@katebevan I had this happen at a job a few years ago - I was stunned!
