Pawel Siwczak پفل@danrebellato o wow, what an incredible idea! Maybe starting with a book by James R. Gaines "An Evening in the Palace of Reason" and then following up with the music mentioned there? It's mainly about the clash of worldviews and beliefs between JS Bach and one of his sons, CPE Bach, and the story behind "Musical Offering".
I devised my Bach vs. Bach programme inspired by the book.
