Dean BI'm trying to plan a 4-mile #running route for my visit to #Philadelphia. Anyone have any good routes or recommendations for which direction to head? My start point is near the convention center.
carmel@pgh_gamer there’s a great run along the schuykill (sp?) River. From the convention center—north on 13th, left on Spring Garden till you get to the Philadelphia museum of art, right on Kelly st. Explore the trails along the river in the park there. Hope this helps! Wish I could be at PaxU this year.
@carmel Thanks so much! This is great help. I should have known Philly would have trails along their rivers. Do you recommend heading north or south along the river?
@pgh_gamer basically the park area starts at spring garden st and goes north. It depends on what your want to see on your run. The park is gorgeous nature but if you’re more of a city guy you could go south along the river (cross the bridge first) there’s some nice city views and UPenn is over there. Up to you! Why not both.
