Oh good gracious, only 27 days until #Christmas...

On that note, could you please let me know what the parking situation is where you are? Keeping a sleigh stationary on a frosted sloped roof is about as difficult as one might expect.

@Santaclaus
Hey Santa, I am curious about your yearly mission. With so many places to land, drop off, and take-off again, you must go through a lot of Gs. Do you carry a G meter? What pattern do you do? Do you, start from the North Pole, fly on a 180 heading all the way to the South Pole, rotate, say 179.99 degrees, by right, 360 heading all the to the North Pole, say 179.99 degrees, by the left, and repeat the whole process until you have covered the whole planet? Are you able to optimize this over the Pacific? Do you have ETOPS, or more than 2 reindeer? What do you use for navigation, IRS? How much contingency ration do you plan for the reindeer? How do you get the gifts delivered when the weather is below minima?

And finally, I never learned the outcome of this checkride: https://youtu.be/50vE47DGEy4

Did you manage to reuse Rudolph after that?

@ruicraveiro HO HO HOLY moly that's a lot of questions. Let me see:

1) Quite a few G's! Took some time getting used to it. To get around every house in 25 hours, I need to move at about 3000 times the speed of sound, which comes out at about 100,000 G's. I've gotten used to not blacking out, but I regularly can't feel my face.

2) To be honest, I just follow the Santa Nav. It probably changes every time, depending on traffic.

3) Never thought about optimizing my route over the Pacific. Though, at that speed, I can go from the Malay Peninsula to Panama in just over 17 seconds.

4) I have 9 reindeer! Contingency rations have never been an issue. Lovely folk across the world regularly leave carrots out.

5) The weather is always below minima somewhere in any 25 hour period. I tend to just sleigh through it.

6) That wasn't Rudolph. That was Keith.

@Santaclaus
Oh actually parking at my place is pretty chaotic Santa 😬 you should come here before everyone else just to avoid trouble....a few days before Christmas would be even better 😜
@upbeattoast You know, I've actually floated the idea of changing the day I do my deliveries to some of the elves in logistics! They however, said it was "stupid" πŸ˜” Oh well!
@Santaclaus
I guess the elves know best πŸ₯Ή good luck parking on the roof here, sorry about the parking πŸ˜…
@Santaclaus No problem in Florida. But no chimney. Are you still able to use the Santa keys to access the house?
@Santaclaus
In Vienna you have to pay for parking on the streets. Roofs i dont know. Slay may be a problem, because of the lack of snow. Also no chimmney at my place.
But "Christkind" will do your job anyway without elves, sleigh, reindeer, chimmneys and all that stuff you usually need.
@Santaclaus
Absolutely awful lack of parking. Most people bring their work van home, as well has having two cars. Still we aren’t expecting presents and we are quite happy to drink the booze we leave out for you, ourselves. It’s really no trouble.
@Santaclaus I have a balcony, I’ll put out a hot chocolate in a flask 😌
@AmaBagins Much obligued! πŸŽ…πŸ‘Œ

@Santaclaus Please inform #TheHallmarkChannel of this

They are under the mistaken belief that it is every day of the year

@Santaclaus We have a car port, reindeer will have shelter while you go about your jolly business. We will use off-street parking for the night 🧑

@Santaclaus
Expecting rain and high humidity...
No worries about snow here ...
Might make ya beard go Frizzy...
