Does anyone have advise for safely exercising when you have #hypermobility? All I really know to do right now is to pay attention to the mechanics of what I'm doing, making sure joints are aligned correctly with my body before beginning the movement. Any thoughts?
@krisannthemum For me: most exercise in water - helps support my joints. I also do reformer Pilates, but only 1-on-1 with an instructor, because my body is very good at 'cheating' and he makes sure I constraint my range of motion. Then PT.

I recommend Trigger Point Pilates. Yoga, Tai Chi. Stretch, wriggle, dance about. Don't try to 'achieve' exercise .. just keep gentle moving to avoid stiffness.

For aerobic you need to be stable and supported.
Jeanne Di Bon does amazing HDS exercise videos on YouTube. Classes first Thursday in the month, join live chat on her channel. V v good.
Don Fiore Tai Chi for Seniors on you tube save my life at crisis point. 20 mins daily is fine... x
