Re alt text, disabled.social suggests using the hashtag #AltTextHelp if/when one might not have the spoons to write their own alt text. I haven't used it yet myself but there are community members who follow the hashtag and provide image description in replies.

I get nothing for that hashtag but the two I've learned are #ALT4me and #ALT4you. It's good to be able to help others using these tags.

@mikeythenurse During my first search for the tags I was able to help a visually-impaired user interpret a video. Describing an image while retaining the flavour of a post is interesting and challengling and fun. Some of the alt-tags people come up with here are pure delights of descriptive text.
