@adhdeanasl Thanks for the reminder to include alt text. And folks can add alt text for GIFs and videos, not just static images.

Anyone who can't do alt text can use the hashtag #Alt4Me to request alt text from someone who is able to do it.

Re last boost: If this is not very feasible for you for any reason you can use #Alt4Me and someone will reply with a description of your image with #Alt4U on it. you can edit it in if you'd like but usually no one cares if you don't, it's there for you or anyone else to boost so people without the visual context can get it.

@TheJen @oldladyplays @VE2UWY Don’t forget if you don’t have the energy, spoonies can always post with the #ALT4me tag and someone will stop by and write some alt text for you.
I’m autistic here too, and I try to help out when I’ve got the spoons because alt text is often the only way I understand a lot of images posted by allists. Also, I’ve met some very interesting visually impaired people here, and I want them to have as good an experience here as I do!
[Edit: but no judgement if that’s not something you can handle. I’ve certainly been there ]
