remotevoices@communalsauce I can't decide what I make of them compared to Curve. But then, looking back, not sure Curve lived up to their own hype. I've definitely bought several SPC ECO releases though.
@remotevoices I find SPC ECO too prolific to listen to every release, but when Dean & Rose hit that sweet spot, they're real good.
@communalsauce yeah, seems to be a new EP every bandcamp day, and a new Curve bootleg (a lot of which just sound awful). And definitely, when the sound is on point it is good stuff, otherwise it is... fine.
@remotevoices Sound awful as in the audio quality is poor, or as in the tunes themselves arent good?
@communalsauce i would tend towards the live recording quality is poor, but also that element of how some bands can suddenly sound bad in a random live recording for whatever reason.

Produced and mixed in the darkest depths of lockdown by Jonah Falco on a boat moored outside an isolated estate" - maybe the cold had an effect on their production!
