Dia daoibh, a chairde! Hello friends!

Thanks so much to @cenobyte (and @Satori, of course!) for setting up a server for for us and our floofy friends. I hope to see lots of pals joining us in the coming days.

You may know me as Snugglor from twitter (same name). I've been lucky enough to share my home with lots of piggies over the years, and I currently have ten piggy pals who brighten my every day 😊

I'm looking forward to meeting you all, old friends and new ☺️

@snugglor

Dia duit! Anthony is ainm dom; is coinín mé.

@anthonyrabbit @snugglor What is this beautiful language! Is it Irish? 🥰
@Satori @anthonyrabbit Yep, it is 😊
@snugglor @anthonyrabbit How wonderful! Strange and unusual fact about BunMum (who is a quarter Irish ☘️ and has the green eyes to prove it! 😉), she adores Celtic music, and loves the Irish accent so much she’s watched YouTube videos to try to learn the accent at least! 💚
@Satori @snugglor @anthonyrabbit Gaelic accent is so wonderful! I’ve had quite a few Irish friends and I cld sit and chat with them forever and a day, just to listen to them speak!

@FatimaS21366999 @Satori @anthonyrabbit The thing about Ireland is that there are so many accents. It's not really an exaggeration to say that you can travel five miles and have a different accent, especially in the cities. It's something I really love, though 😍

I do often wonder if they sound so different to people outside the country or if they all just sound "Irish". Are our ears just more "tuned in" to the differences, if that makes sense 🤔

@snugglor @FatimaS21366999 @Satori @anthonyrabbit Reminds me of a remark by Plume Latraverse, Cdn singer: "L'accent, c'est pas dans la gorge des uns, c'est dans l'oreille des autres." (Accents aren't in the throat of speakers, but in the ears of listeners.)
@Byronrabbit @snugglor @FatimaS21366999 @anthonyrabbit What a perfect quote! Just beautiful, and so very true. ❤️
