Rua the SidheWell, my Masto friends… turns out the old Fitbit scale wasn’t that far out. Still horrified by my weight but relieved at the same time. Fitbit scale had to go, tho. It was chewing through four AA batteries a week.

@HungryAndTired It would trigger all the time and request to step on. Hence… faulty. It’s been doing that on and off for a few years but being a touch OCD I had to stick with the same scale. I changed the battery last week and went to step on it yesterday and it was flat. When I put new batteries in is basically wouldn’t turn off.
Thanks to Amazon I had another in less than 12 hours. Different model… way cheaper.
