Being a parent to a 15-year old means having the first piece of pie and then discovering there is none left when you go looking for the leftovers to have a second
@Therealhoarse you’re lucky you got the first piece!
@Therealhoarse How did you even get to the first piece?
@Therealhoarse My 19 year old daughter is dating a 6’6 college football offensive lineman, any leftovers must be buried in the back yard if you want a shot at them.
@Therealhoarse parenting tip: always have a pie/dessert that the kids/ spouse doesn’t like. In our home that meant something with walnuts or coconut 😊
@Therealhoarse No worries, it'll get better in about 20 years or so. 😆
@Therealhoarse I thought it was going to end differently. Like American Pie, everyone loves pie.
@Therealhoarse it doesn’t change when they get older. My 44 year old daughter hovers like a vulture waiting for me to pack up leftovers.
@Therealhoarse been there experienced that. Tip from a parent of an adult,let them eat all they want..time at home goes way too fast. And one day when you least expect it, they will buy you not only a whole pie but your favorite pie. To this day I still get teary eyed when we get unsolicited desserts . Enjoy your dessert time together ..
@Therealhoarse Wait until they’re twenty, they’ll take the whole pie!
@Therealhoarse that’s why you have to get your slice asap.
@Therealhoarse wait til the teen is 16/18 and you learn leftovers are just memories. 😁
@Therealhoarse 100% facts!!!🤣🤣🤣
@Therealhoarse mine is 23 now and will eat pie for every meal if it's available
