People like to make fun of those who just post regular updates about their lives or small random or silly thoughts on social media, but those are my favorite kinds of posts. There was a time when it used to be mostly that. I mean, of course post what you want, but not everything has to be some well-thought out or deep meaningful commentary.
@Fragglemuppet they're my favorite too, & i posted like that for my entire twelve years on twiitter ..it never led to much conversation, which was sometimes disheartening but is a snapshot of how my mind & imagination collaborate. also, hi 🤗 do you have a favorite muppet?
@likedisaster @Fragglemuppet I always kind of assumed that was what you were supposed to do on social media in general, use it as an online diary and also post/tweet whatever's on your mind (as well as interacting with others, though I don't seem to do that as well as I could). I too would get a bit disheartened at times when it seems like no one cared what book I was reading or what I'd watched on Netflix, those sort of posts seem to generate a lot more interest here which is great 😊
@instantkarma80 In some ways this place reminds me of the internet as it was 15 years ago, and I mean that in the best way possible!
@Fragglemuppet Posting about whatever chore I'm procrastinating on makes it more likely that I actually start it.
Also every time I hear from someone they struggle with that stuff, too, I feel a bit better, so I hope that goes the other way, too.
@Fragglemuppet if it weren't for meaningless stuff I'd have nothing to contribute at all.
@Fragglemuppet agree. Just a reaching out to say hey, what’s happening? I like.
