Angus McIntyreA #RetroCaturday picture (the only one I have) of the family #cat from my childhood. He was a large muscular cat, and made a specialty of affectionate headbutts to the jaw that would have you blinking and seeing stars.
Christine Krause@wallflower The house was probably built in the late 19th century, but the kitchen was probably redone in the 1970s. It looks dingy because the picture was taken in poor light (and then scanned from the print). The cat is sleeping on top of a small gas boiler, which replaced the coal-fired furnace that was there before.
