I used to admin a 100+ network of computers in my 'spare time', bot is *not* a word you have any desire to hear, let alone poke into. Thsy would have had me looking for a new job faster than I could blink
And if you've ever experienced a bot on the other place....
You can imagine my *immense* surprise when I found out they were useful. As long as they were fully controlled. Not just for the 'rules' but the more complex 'expected behaviour'
@TreasureDev and in some cases it's better to just stay away.
The industry I was in did not believe there was such a thing as a 'white hat'.
If you even smelled like one, you were on the street.
(if you were that lucky, there was certain paperwork that you had also signed that said they could put you much, much worse places)
