@Pwnallthethings Also, wasn't there recently an attempt to produce an "anti-woke" patriot phone? Turned out to be an off-brand Chinese knockoff not marketed in the US running a re-badged android, as I recall. And just as secure and reliable as you'd imagine.

@mattblaze There's been a few. They're always rebranded $50 Chinese smartphones on Android with the appstore stripped out and then resold for $200+

@mattblaze @Pwnallthethings was just having this discussion elsewhere and also landed on rebadged Android being the best case scenario also, which agreed, not a good scenario.

Even if he could make a new OS, and could attract engineers to work on it after all this mess. Who’s getting a phone that only runs Twitter because it’s not Android or iOS and so has no app ecosystem.
