I can no longer do Chatarungas and oh well...😂🧘🏿‍♀️
@CoachZ Chaturanga is a difficult pose for many people with shoulder issues. I have reduced the number of chaturangas that I teach in my classes. Instead, I encourage students to put their knees on the ground as they come down. I also incorporate a lot of salabhasana (locust pose) as a substitute for bhujangasana (cobra) and upward facing dog.

@Yoga_N_Place my should issues started because of them but it took me a while to make the connection. I spent a year rehabbing and going to PT. And I encorporated them again and the problem came right back. It seems neuromuscular than any actual damage. I can downward dog, cobra.snd upward dog with no issues so I assume mechanically there is something is transitioning into and holding that pose my right shoulder (and brain) doesn't like.

I just got into table top pose instead.

@CoachZ I have a tutorial video on doing Chaturanga safely if you are interested. Instructions to get to the free video are in each of my newsletters. Tabletop is a good substitute, as you have discovered.
