@Bronwen Elle (she/her) Each time through thinking about introductions I end up thinking of different things.

I'm a long-time web developer, and I love being useful so anyone who could use help with anything hit me up.

I'm also a political junkie, but still feeling out how that will apply around here as I rebalance my news intake to try to be at slightly healthier levels. My substack is my main outlet of expression.

And I'm soon-to-be a Canada/US dual-citizen, so I'm a double-threat!

@ellesaurus hey, congratulations on the new citizenship! Which is the new one, Canada or American? Yeh, I think mastodon will be a good place for all us news junkies to learn to do politics in a more healthy way!

@Bronwen Thank you! Born and raised in Ontario, but moved to Pennsylvania in October 2016 (primo timing lmao). Just waiting on my oath ceremony to be scheduled.

@Bronwen Here's hoping. It was at least a good midterm for PA. Not just Fetterman and Shapiro winning for Senate and Governor, but the state legislature flipped blue, too!

@ellesaurus yeah, it was a relief for sure, I was very worried they'd loser the house and the senate and let the GOP impeach Biden once a week until the end of his term
