@Mimirocah1 I've heard Post is a venture started by the founder of Waze, funded by significant VC capital.

I suspect (not sure) that it's related to a previous micropayment-for-news effort he launched last year, "Paygo."

I am interested to see that the site is mostly being promoted by media and journalism personalities with significant social media followings who are casually dropping referral links in conversations about leaving Twitter, and I'm wondering if that's a coincidence.

@antone @IntlLawGnome @Mimirocah1 But they’re also letting people in based on who they are.. oftentimes blue checks are getting in first. I have to find it, but I took a screenshot of one of the owners talking about how he gets to “pick”. I’m also on the wait list, but don’t want that to become another Twitter overlord situation.
