I did not expect this book to shit so much in the gig economy and on the concept of Agile, I'm liking it a lot because of that 🤣
Oh fuck, I was enjoying the book somehow and then got ruined
Done with it, and a couple of take aways I haven't thought about when discussing 4-day weeks. One is that keeping productivity is a must, not an option, and so companies that want to try it need to actively work in new ways to increase it. Second, it should be flexible, and not a Mon-Thu but rather allow for teams and individuals to decide when they get their extra day off a week. The rest is what you already know, all the advantages of the 4 day week and so.

Another thing I did not expect is how much the book makes a case against gig economy (Uber and co) from the stress gig workers suffer, to the lobbying these companies do, how it affects pension systems, etc.

It's also interesting that the book was clearly written before the pandemic started, so it misses all work and society changes that happened during these times.
