Elon's take over of Twitter has set a lot of things into motion in the digital world  

Tumblr and now also Flickr are thinking about intergrating ActivityPub so it will be able to connect to the Fediverse!  

A lot of lay offs in the mainstream social media but the Fediverse is only growing!

The world is waking up  Social media can be fun but also privacy friendly at the same time, you got the proof now!❤️

@stux @GilliJamtin Off-topic but curious to hear your view: what do you think of boosting your reply to this thread instead? That way the discussion will happen under the original post instead of a million different places. I’m pondering how to signify boosted replies. I saw someone the other prepend them with ☝🏻so folks know to click the reply to see the whole convo. Any thoughts?

@simeon @stux @GilliJamtin I boost my reply or that of others in a conversation to make a point. The reply gets into more feeds this way, while still staying as part of the main convo. Really, IMO other than one's ego or need to sub-toot (gossip?) there's no need to QT.
