As a photographer who loves 2:3 ratio, having to crop or add obnoxious borders to photos for Instagram was really frustrating, and photos I did that to never performed well. Well, I just remembered masto doesn’t do that, so I’m excitedly posting my least well received/most disliked piece, cause fvckit lol. Also, this is a rare self-portrait, because I really don’t like being in front of the camera lol.

@brontegrimm I've had a similar problem with Instagram. Cropping photos completely changes them, and borders are annoying.

@lazcorp ooof! Sincerely, thank you, that means a lot! And yup, arbitrary pic ratios suck, and seriously, why they don’t allow the size of MOST phone pics is absurd lol

@lazcorp @brontegrimm side note in case either of you missed it (because I did!): when you add the image description you can move the target thing on the picture to adjust where it gets cropped.
No more awkward automatic crops!
