Common courtesy goes a long way with the PCs in my #ttrpg group, it seems… in yesterday‘s #DCO session, they were approached by a 3 ft tall tadpole warrior person with a skull on a chain around the neck. This Karl Kapek politely asked to be taken upriver to the dam in their boat. He said he had lost his troops. They agreed without so much as asking for a reward!
