Helga delivered packages
Big, small, or oddly shaped: she had delivered them for 200 years
At one point, she must have had arms & legs
Those must have been replaced when they were injured or broken
Then, there were upgrades
Expansions
How #weird it would be not to have a dozen claw-arms
How fragile the sacks of blood & organs she must have had before
As far as she knew, Helga had not taken day off in 200 years
And at some point along the way, she had lost the ability to care

@AlextheZee My first impulse is to feel sorry for Helga, but maybe she loves what she does and is happy to have the optimal body to do what gives her a sense of purpose 🤔 I hope it's the latter, and I'll just cheer Go Helga Go! 👏

@KaylaStorytella
I like to purposely leave a lot of my stories open to a range of interpretations...

I'm so glad you enjoyed the piece, Kayla!

@AlextheZee I'm glad you keep writing them 😊
