With Thanksgiving upon us here in the US, it's almost time for me to make gingerbread leathermen again.
If you have ideas for other ones, I'm interested to hear them. As long as they are not too time-consuming to do, I may give them a try.
@LeatherCigarSir gingerbread goatse please
@Cub4DaddyBears Ha, we'll see, cub. I may be able to do that.
@LeatherCigarSir puppy hood gingerbread guys?
@Roannasylver Good idea.I am thinking of how that might work and will experiment.
@LeatherCigarSir wooo! Excited to see! (if they turn out okay and aren't a pain lol)
@LeatherCigarSir Wow, yours are SO much better! MANY years ago a few of us got together for drinking and cookie decorating, which in retrospect, probably wasn’t the best combination… The photos I have of those cookies are *tragic* and I can’t even remember which ones were mine. :-p
@4_InTheMorning Thanks! Admittedly I spent a lot of time on each one. Needless to say, not very many people were gifted them. Yours looks like he had a good night, and I'm sure he was delicious!
@LeatherCigarSir I don’t know that I’d have the heart to eat them. I’d probably want to preserve them forever in Gloopstik so they didn’t get ruined. (Super bonus points for anyone who knows where Gloopstik is from)
@4_InTheMorning A couple people did preserve theirs actually, with some kind of shellac I think.
@LeatherCigarSir That's pretty much what Gloopstik is and what I was thinking I'd preserve them with too. https://youtu.be/A2XKfsTPDxA?t=374

@4_InTheMorning Wow, I have not seen that in a very, very long time!
@LeatherCigarSir lol. I'm surprised you even recognize it. I've met VERY few people of ever even heard of that obscure bit of commercialized Christmas mirth.
@4_InTheMorning Well, I am *cough* *cough* old enough. I saw it in the late 70's on tv and rember it because of what the toys looked like after they went through the machine - encased in resin.
@LeatherCigarSir Did you actually made this?
@Dragonholley I did, yes, every one of them. Each one takes 45-60 minutes to decorate.
@LeatherCigarSir gingerbread Village People?
@gorfram Ha! ......Possibly
@LeatherCigarSir then, of course, you could have a gingerbread village for them to be the People of. Maybe with a gingerbread club (called “Bite Me”?), & a gingerbread dungeon for the gingerbread leathermen & their gingerfriends, and a-
Wait, you said something about keeping it doable.
@gorfram I like the way you think! Now I'm going through designs for how to build a sling and floggers out of black licorice strands, and somehow wire the club with disco lights...
@LeatherCigarSir I never knew but I needed to see this! All the little details!
@LeatherCigarSir I went to an 80’s themed party a few weeks ago as the guy top 2nd left. It was fun. I touched up an Adam Ant but stayed away from the Motley Crew crowd!
@LeatherCigarSir
Is there any other way to make gingerbread men?
@LeatherCigarSir That must have taken a lot of work! I especially appreciate the details on the zipper
@LeatherCigarSir
OMG, these are brilliant! I need to do some drag ones with my daughter! 😍
@LeatherCigarSir These are amazing! So many great details.
@LeatherCigarSir These are so cute. Must follow to see your next creations.
@LeatherCigarSir
