Organized my college courses into a functional CV. It takes a lot of work to make something look simple and clean, especially as an interactive Word document (which is prep for an eventual portfolio site). Don't get too excited-- uni is a work in progress and I'm not available until Summer 2024. 😉
Updated CV / degree map (studies in progress). Expandable categories will be flexible and useful when applying for jobs. This Word doc will eventually be part of an interactive portfolio site.
Not going to apologize for my enthusiasm, but some context would be useful. This is over 25 years of courses at 3 colleges distilled into 1 document. The 2nd half of my studies are full-time, as a retiree, with much less drama in my life.
It also creates a dichotomy-- I am determined to pursue a career change, while others see my age and assume that I'm "wrapping up loose ends" or "just doing it for the lulz". Sometimes I worry that employers will confuse my intent or reject me due to age.
@thorn I think putting that directly on a resume cover letter might go a long way.
