What are some good works, articles, essays (by PoC) about the issue of applying Western concepts of thinking/ideology to other continents/countries. For example, I feel that applying the right wing term "ethnopluralism" to African nations is problematic but I want to back that up with research and sources.
Any ideas?
@Lara b.binaohan's "decolonizing trans/gender 101." It's a critique of White transgender discourse applying Western gender frameworks as "univerversal" to non-Western/non-White/indigenous cultures and the people who would be considered "transgender" from a Western perspective.

So, pretty specific in a way, but at the same time massively eye-opening on a very basic level (unless your eyes are already open, ofc...).
