@gdanmitchell #DeathValley was such a wonderful surprise when I visited for a couple days in late December many years ago. I have two regrets about my visit: I didn't stay longer and I was too tired at the end of each day's #hiking to use the pool at the lodge. December is the perfect time - 70's during the day, 30's at night.

@mgerdts — End of March – with the possibility of spring flowers — used to be my favorite time in the park. But these days my fave is the end of December and then into January. Light is lovely, there's snow on the Panamints, there are not that many people.
