When life gives you honey, make mead! It's easy and extremely rewarding. Apparently, it gets better with age. One day, I'll keep some long enough to find out.

@ryanopaz oh my word! 40 months would be vintage in this house. Was it still delicious? I bottle it, put it out of sight, try forget about it, fail, and then drink it. I've got a new batch to bottle up, maybe this time will be different 😂

@Caro @ryanopaz Decades ago I used to make mead, including sparkling mead. The latter was my favourite, and I agree - the longer you leave it, the better it gets. I remember opening some 5 year old sparkling mead and it was delish! #Mead #Homebrew

@SabrosiaVit sparkling mead sounds truly delightful, I'll have to investigate that. A friend gave me a few jars of honey a couple of weeks ago, so it might be time to set off another batch. I absolutely must keep my mitts off a few bottles to let them properly mature!
