Within a few days I went from counter-social to techhub-social, after I apparently had tried mastodontech-de already some time ago. Now folks open up dataplatform-social.

@sqlworldwide @DerFredo @kevchant I believe it's a new Mastodon server that was recently spun up. Supposedly there's a way to migrate accounts there if you want to, though I have yet to read or investigate this further.

You can migrate your account but your content doesn't follow you, just your followers. Think of it like a 301 redirect.

As for server, it like 95% doesn't matter. Some server might decide to block other ones, and it's easier find folks on the same server.
