I'm not sure WHAT they are beyond one of the parachute mushrooms (in the genus Marasmius? M. capillaris? Perhaps? ), but I love them.

Les Lore@badbirch lived on a granitic outcrop on the ocean's edge for the last 2.5 yrs &really enjoyed being able to see stages - algae>lichen>moss>fungus in accumulated litter>grass, broadleaf & succulents... eventually perennials like Saskatoon berry [Amelanchier alnifolia]
coolest was the growth in attached photo - on arrival 28 months earlier there was no visible moss living within this lichen
