Peter StefanovicI don’t know what you all think but Twitter often feels lonely. The sense of community here is amazing and the warmth & affection I’ve experienced since I arrived yesterday has been incredible. My thoughts so far is that something very special is happening here. I’m still going to be saying boll**** quite a lot though!

RosBux@PeterStefanovic there was nothing wrong with Twitter until Musk took over. You have a lot of followers on Twitter. Many are really good people. We’ve come here because one way or another Musk seems determined to finish Twitter. And in the world we live in, a good online platform shared with many good people is a bonus.

I really like it here. It’s less shouty, no ads and no adult content popping into my feed or usurping hashtags

I seem to vaguely recall Twitter being a lot better in its’ earliest years - is there a risk that Mastadon will become more like Twitter if it becomes more popular (attracting Trolls, Bots, Lynton Crosby’s little friends….)
