Replaying #GrimFandango now, as a #narrative designer, I think it's amazing how effortlessly the world is presented to the player. For all idiosyncrasies of its universe, the game contains precious little straight-up exposition, and its always elegantly woven into the dialogue

This less-is-more approach to exposition within such a richly realized fiction really makes the world of #GrimFandango feel massive and extremely believable. And that makes the characters, who are the game's true focus, feel all the more real

And the vibes take care of the rest

@Snapcase Same here! It was such a staple of my early gaming, part of me was worried that going back to it would show it to be somehow less than I remembered, but I was honestly just as enchanted this time as I was my very first playthrough
