I’ve spent a couple of hours on Matodon and it reminds me of what the internet was like back in the mid 1990s. Does anyone remember IRC? Dial up bulletin boards? Like that but better. #FirstImpressions

@FreyaSu I very much do! I had an ibm 386 hosting a BBS on two land lines. :)

But there are apps that make #mastodon look a lot more familiar. Try MetaText for IOS. Very Twitter-esque

@paulgeller am using Metatext. It has bigger text than Toot! My eyes aren’t has *bright* as they used to be 😝
