I think @Gargron ‘s biggest mistake was to name or promote .social as a default instance. For the sake of the ecosystem it shouldn’t be. Arguably he shouldn’t run one at all. #mastodon
@nick@Gargron maybe, but I am optimistic and think we will adapt. I will be moving this account soon to our own company server. As the number of servers grow that initial unbalanced topology with disappear.
