@AnneTheWriter Bossy much?

@RADC
Something I learned while being a Girl Scout Leader several years ago...

Have you ever noticed that men never get called "bossy"? That's because it's always aimed at females, criticizing them for taking leadership.

So, in response, I can only ask...

"Sexist much?"

@AnneTheWriter I’ll retort, “No sense of sarcasm?” Not everything in life is out to get you Well maybe your life But not everyone’s
@AnneTheWriter thanks for connection, great toots and boosts

@AnneTheWriter Not all. I don't follow back people who won't put any intro on their profile page: say who they are, interests - and I tend to not follow back followers whose interests and posts look less interesting to me - no offense, but, your (#HOME link right) timeline of who you follow can fill up fast - and that's the scrollfeed that should be just your interests.

So, my suggestion, #follow but curate. Accept all #followers who have shown who they are. Later you can curate if needed

@AnneTheWriter What we need to succeed is _engagement_. “Follow policies” may at first seem to achieve that end, but could also be counterproductive to the goal if it leads to the land of contrivance and disingenuousness, opening the gateway to simple metrics like follower count.

Follow the stuff you like!
Respond to stuff!
Like stuff!
Engage in the should we even have a like button discussion. (Imma “yes” FWIW)
Boost stuff!
Block the crap!

@AnneTheWriter I’m not offended to be following many more people than follow me. In fact sometimes I’d like to unsubscribe from myself!
