Did Adventure come before Zork? I remember the time when the internal IBM mainframes were so busy with people playing Adventure! Will Crother started Adventure I believe… xyzzy y’all!

@japierce @intfiction @Chimneyswift @caranmegil right, Adventure first -- original version developed late '75 early '76, then picked up by Woods in '77 in March (we have exact dates for that) and then released shortly after. Zork authors first saw an early "250 point" version of Adventure which kicked off their work
